1. About these terms
These Terms of Sale apply to purchases of watches, jewellery, precious metals, diamonds, gemstones and other goods from London Gold Luxuries Ltd (“London Gold”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By purchasing an item from us, you agree to these terms.
2. Our website
Our website is currently an information, catalogue and enquiry platform.
We do not currently operate an online checkout or payment facility through the website.
The prices, photographs and descriptions displayed online are provided to help customers explore our collection and make enquiries. A website listing does not itself constitute an offer or create a contract for sale.
Purchases are agreed directly with London Gold, either in person or through another communication method agreed with you. Where a purchase is agreed remotely, the terms applicable to that transaction will be confirmed to you before the transaction is completed.
3. Forming a purchase contract
A purchase contract is formed when London Gold confirms that it has agreed to sell a particular item to you and the terms of the transaction have been agreed.
We may decline a proposed transaction where reasonably necessary, including for stock, authentication, compliance, security or fraud-prevention reasons.
4. Product descriptions
We make reasonable efforts to describe every item accurately.
Unless specifically described as unworn or new, our watches and jewellery may be pre-owned. Pre-owned items may show signs of previous use. The condition of each item will be assessed individually.
Descriptions may include information about:
- condition;
- age;
- reference number;
- serial number;
- box and papers;
- accessories;
- service history;
- modifications;
- replacement components; and
- other relevant characteristics.
Where we are aware of a material condition issue, we will disclose it before completing the sale. Photographs are intended to represent the actual item wherever stated, although colour and appearance can vary between screens and devices.
5. Authenticity
London Gold carries out appropriate authentication and inspection before offering watches and jewellery for sale. We warrant that items sold by us are genuine and materially correspond with their description.
If an item purchased from us is subsequently established to be counterfeit, we will provide the remedy required under applicable law and our authenticity guarantee.
London Gold is an independent dealer and is not an authorised dealer, representative, partner or affiliate of any watch or jewellery manufacturer unless expressly stated. Brand names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
6. Watch warranty
Where a manufacturer warranty remains valid and is transferable, we will pass on the relevant warranty rights where applicable.
Where London Gold offers any warranty on a particular item, its terms, duration and cover will be confirmed to you in writing at the time of purchase. Any such warranty applies only to that item and on the terms stated.
Where a warranty is provided, it would not normally cover:
- normal wear;
- accidental damage;
- misuse;
- impact damage;
- water damage where water resistance has not been expressly guaranteed;
- scratches or cosmetic deterioration;
- straps;
- bracelets;
- crystals;
- clasps;
- batteries;
- damage resulting from unauthorised opening or repair; or
- modifications carried out after purchase.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in respect of goods that are faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality apply regardless of whether any warranty is offered.
7. Jewellery
Any specific warranty or guarantee applying to jewellery will be explained or confirmed at the time of purchase.
Precious metals, diamonds and gemstones are natural materials and may display characteristics or variations inherent to those materials.
Where a certificate is supplied with a diamond or gemstone, the certificate forms part of the item’s supporting documentation but does not replace your statutory rights.
8. Prices and payment
Our website does not currently process payments.
When you decide to purchase an item, the final price and payment arrangements will be agreed directly with you before the transaction is completed.
Payment may be made using a method accepted by London Gold for the relevant transaction. For higher-value purchases, we may require payment by bank transfer or another verified method.
We accept cash payments. Where a payment is made in cash, additional identification and record-keeping requirements may apply, and we will explain these to you before the transaction is completed.
We may carry out identity, fraud-prevention and payment-security checks before completing a transaction.
Ownership of the item remains with London Gold until payment has been received and cleared in full.
9. Reservations
We may agree to reserve an item for a customer. Any reservation period, deposit requirement and conditions will be confirmed to you before the reservation is made.
Unless otherwise agreed, a reservation does not constitute a completed purchase. If a deposit is required, the terms governing that deposit will be explained before you make the payment.
10. Collection and delivery
Where you collect your purchase from our Hatton Garden premises, risk in the item passes to you upon collection.
Where we agree to deliver an item, we will use an appropriate delivery service and may require the delivery address to be verified. For high-value items, we may require identification and a signature on delivery.
Delivery arrangements, costs and estimated timescales will be agreed with you before the item is dispatched.
11. Purchases made in person
Where you purchase an item at our premises, there is no general statutory right to cancel simply because you subsequently change your mind. Any exchange or goodwill return offered by London Gold will be subject to the conditions communicated to you at the time.
This does not affect your statutory rights where an item is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to comply with applicable consumer law.
12. Purchases agreed remotely
Where a consumer purchase is concluded as a distance contract, applicable UK consumer legislation may provide a statutory cancellation period. Where those rights apply, we will provide the information required by law and explain the applicable cancellation procedure.
Generally, qualifying distance purchases of goods give consumers 14 days from receiving the goods to notify the trader that they wish to cancel, followed by a further period to return the goods.
Certain exceptions may apply, including for goods made specifically to a customer’s specification or clearly personalised. Nothing in these terms removes any statutory cancellation rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Faulty or misdescribed items
Your statutory rights apply where an item is faulty, not as described, not of satisfactory quality or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, your remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. Any London Gold warranty operates alongside, and does not replace, your statutory rights.
14. Part exchange
London Gold may accept watches, jewellery or other eligible items as part exchange. The part-exchange value will be agreed after appropriate inspection and authentication.
The person providing the part-exchange item confirms that:
- they own it or are authorised to sell it;
- it is not subject to outstanding finance or another security interest;
- it is not stolen;
- it is genuine; and
- the information supplied about it is accurate.
Our Terms for Selling to Us also apply to the part-exchange item.
15. Sourcing
Customers may ask London Gold to source a particular watch, jewellery item or other product. We will use reasonable efforts to locate a suitable item but cannot guarantee:
- that the requested item will be found;
- the price;
- availability;
- exact specifications; or
- the time required to source it.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, a sourcing enquiry does not oblige you to purchase an item we locate. Any deposit or sourcing fee will be explained before it is requested.
16. Bespoke jewellery
Where London Gold agrees to arrange or create a bespoke item, the agreed specification, price, deposit and estimated timescale will be confirmed before work begins.
Because bespoke pieces may be made specifically for an individual customer, cancellation rights may differ from those applying to standard goods. Changes requested after production has begun may result in additional costs or delays.
Natural variations in gemstones, precious metals and handmade workmanship do not necessarily constitute defects. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
17. Website information and availability
We endeavour to keep our website accurate and up to date. However, stock may sell or become unavailable before the website has been updated.
A website price or listing is therefore not a guarantee that an item remains available or that the displayed price will be the final transaction price. If there is a material error in a website listing before a contract has been formed, we reserve the right to correct it.
18. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability which cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to applicable law, London Gold will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from a transaction. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
19. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please contact:

Telephone +44 7846 933320.

20. Privacy
Personal information collected when you enquire about or purchase an item is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
21. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction in relation to these terms, subject to any mandatory consumer rights applicable to you.
If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of these terms will continue to apply.
